This design is inspired by the Ruby Seadragon, a relatively new species of seadragon that was only discovered in 2015 off the coast of Western Australia. What makes it particularly interesting is its vibrant ruby-red color, which is unlike any other known species of sea dragon. This coloration is thought to be a result of a genetic mutation that affects the way light reflects off the dragon's skin.
